1、《藍莓之夜》是王家衛的第一部英語電影，而且也是王家衛第一次請其他的人爲他寫劇本。編劇就是曾經獲得愛倫坡獎的勞倫斯·布洛克。

2、爲了拍攝一場關鍵的吻戲，爲了呈現不同角度、觀點、氛圍，王家衛和攝影師小心翼翼地用不同的形式反覆拍攝，讓裘德·洛與諾拉·瓊斯親吻了不下150次，而且每次都有其差異之處。
