Money is indeed important, but money cannot buy everything。 A miser may think that “money talks,” but if you only give your attention to XXX money, you may lose many things, such as health, friendship and love。 I don't think we should regard money as everything。 Money is just a tool that can help us solve problems or enable us to live a comfortable life。 What we should do is to use it appropriately and not become misers。 This way, all of us can lead a happier lives。

初二英語作文 篇3

Since I go to middle school, I stay away from home and live in school from Monday to Friday. The first time for me to leave home made me felt so lonely. I did not have friends here and no one to count on. But I told myself that I needed to try to be independent. So I solved all the problems by myself, I washed my own clothes and cleaned the bed, which were done by my mother before. I found that I could take care of myself without my parents’ help. What’s more, I made good friends here, we had the same interest and we helped each other in study. A year passed, I learned a lot and became independent.

I remember my brother as a sweet baby, bringing much fun and delight to the family with his pleasant gabbles of nonsense. He was a very likable chubby little thing, always on his feet climbing up and down, chasing after insects, birds, and me.

I do not recall him ever having any white clothes since he started school. He was extremely untidy, He used to come home with a face of smudges, an inkspattered shirt, a pair of dirt-bedraggled pants.

He did not care much for ready-made toys, and was very anxious to break them into bits, to satisfy his childish curiosity. But he treasured his sell-made toys, such as the slingshots which he used to break the glasses on the windows, and had receivedpunishments time and time again.
