It is a celebrating day. I got in touch with Michael whom I have been losing contact for one year.

It is really magic. I was searching online aimlessly yesterday when an idea struck me suddenly: since Ben can find out my secret by keying in my name in the search engines, why cant I do so, either?

I intended to find out something about Ben in revenge in the first place, but soon extend my name list to a wider category. It was then that I recalled Michael suddenly.

We have lost contact since our last correspondence in my senior 3. He mentioned to me in his last letter that he was preparing for going to UK to further his education. I, shamefully, was too busy to reply his mail then. When I was recommended to ZJU and won the final freedom, I thought he had already been in UK so I had no idea where to write him.

I used to think that we would never meet again. However, when I browsed the entries about him, I found out excitedly that he is still in P.R.C.!!

Without a moment hesitation, I ran upstairs to my dorm and found out my old address book. Thank goodness, his home no was still there.

After 3 times calling with no answer replies, I eventually got him on the phone. He was more surprised than I could imagine that when I asked for his hp no he was too nervous to remember it. :P Hehe.

The roofs were standing under their snow caps,while the eaves were wearing their glittering trees raised white arms to the sky on every side,and where there was a wall,there were some fantastic forms of snow stretching exhilarated in the dim landscape,as if Nature had carved her fresh desighs by night as models for man's art.

Silently,I opened the door and stepped outside to face the cutting moon had already lost some of its glow and the land was bathed in a dull mist.A lurid light in the east proclaimed the approach of day while the weatern landscape was bleak with some spooky stillness like a wizard you could only hear was the creepy sounds,seemingly out of the hell----the barking of dogs,the hammering of blacksmith,the lowing of cows and the crying of pigs under the butcher's knife.

Gradually,the lurid light darkened and spread across the y flower,every tree and

every weed were bathed in the enly,it turned out that all the sounds were not for any melancholy they suggested,but for their twilight bustle which was too solemn and mysterious for me.

I moved om,treading briskly along the road,the dry and crisped snow crunching under my feet.

第一步 引入

A 簡述本課將對以“理由與藉口”爲題材的高考情景作文進行指導與訓練。

第二步

A 以競賽爲形式,在指定的情景下將與之相關的所有想法展示出來,並以“合理、創新”爲原則進行篩選、分類,從中引出“頭腦風暴”的概念,並加以解釋。

B 列舉日常生活中的情景與理由,幫助學生打開思路。

第三步

A將學生分爲5組,每組設一情景,進行小組討論,以前面做過的指導爲例,篩選信息,並將其拓展成文,再加以講評。

第四步

Typist, construction worker, salesman, lifeguard, and waiter these are some of the more common jobs that students try to find during the summer months. But many young people find work that is a little more unusual.

We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.

Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we are going to talk about each sort of waste one by one.

Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, they become waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called white pollution as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. This is really a big problem.

Organic waste: it refers to waste from living things, including waste from animals, plants and people. Some parts of vegetables are thrown away as waste because they don’t taste good. In the past, people cooked their food using burning coal, so there left the burned coal, which is useless, like the thrown vegetables. All this sorts of waste contain organism, so it is called organic waste.

Actually, we also have inorganic waste, the opposite to organic waste, including building waste, broken pottery and china, and cinder.

The last part is harmful and poisonous waste, such as used batteries, electrical apparatus and medical supplies. Computers and TV sets are one part of electrical apparatus. You see, the old electrical apparatus can set off some dangerous rays and make the soil harder, even damage the under ground water. Mobile phones are as dangerous as computers and TV sets. As we know, X-rays can be used to examine patients, but the X-rays machines are dangerous when they are thrown away without any treatment. They can’t be used to treat the sick, but they still can give off rays. For the normal people, they can be dangerous. So, we must think about this problem.

As waste has four sorts, we can sort them into each sort that they belong to. It’s convenient to treat them after they are sorted. Then we can deal with them sort by sort. We have thought out some methods like storing them in order to change them into plant food, or burning them in a huge stove and use the heat to make electricity. For the first way, the change rate is much too low and it may pollute the under ground water. For the second one, of course it’s wonderful if it’s easy to be tried out. But to build such a huge stove will cost too much. Not a good method. Now you see, treating waste is not an easy job.

From what has been discussed above, we can do something to our home—the earth. We should make full use of things. At the same time, we’d better reduce its harmful effect as much as possible.

We can do from the basic of waste. That’s to say, we can reduce the production of waste, and reuse and recycle them as much as we can. Take material waste for example. Nearly all of them can be recycled and reused. And, we should call for using things made of paper instead of plastics so as to protect our environment.

Protecting the environment is not one person’s duty; it depends on all of us. What can we do? Maybe a dozen..

In a word, use what can reuse as much as possible. Remember, environment protection is not one’s duty!

There is an old Chinese saying: Top students come from strict teachers. Perhaps affected by this saying for a long time, we believe it right. However, as time flies, lots of things have changed. Therefore, I am eager to discuss what relation is the best between teachers and students.

A teacher can treat a student in two ways is strict, and the other is friendly. Most teachers prefer the first way.

To start with, we certainly have to admit that strictness is very effective, especially to the naughty pupils. As pupils we aren’t able to control ourselves well or fix our attention on one thing for a long time. We do most things because they are interesting or we feel like doing. We are always looking out of the window in class. Sometimes, we get to play games and forget our homework. On this occasion, strictness is a must. It not only forces us to do the right thing, but also helps us develop a good learning habit, which is of great importance during our whole life other words, it is the first step to success.

Still, everything has two sides. Its weak points are very obvious. You see, there’re top students in a class, where average students make up the majority. Then teachers’ orders or suggestions are for the majority, not for top students. However, top students always have their own study plans and prefer special homework, so orders usually won’t take great effect on them. Maybe you have thought out that teachers can give orders only to the majority and set some freedom to top students. However, it’s impossible a whole class, teachers couldn’t give order to part of the class, for the majority would question why they needn’t do such work, but we need? It would be probable that they think teachers treat them not equally, and will not obey teachers’ orders any more. This is a difficulty for teachers.

It also has another disadvantage——the communication problem e teachers are strict, we never tell teachers our personal affairs or secrets. Mostly we just tell them to our friends, but as students too, they couldn’t help to solve our problem, such as puppy love, communication problems or study problems being solved completely, they always disturb us, influencing our daily life and study. I’m sure that you think that making friends with teachers can solve the problem, and you are eager to do so as well. But if we do so, new problems will come out see, an adult couldn't control himself well at times, let alone us students. However if teachers are our friends, I doubt whether their orders will take effect any more see, have we ever treated our friends’ orders as orders? We think they’re only jokes. This is another difficulty for teachers.

Additionally, our parents have the same problem. Yes, we need to be friends, but not complete friends. We need to keep a certain distance, making us communicate well and willing to take your orders. I remember a story.

One day, a lady had her rest room decorated. And a skilled worker was bricking up the wall. Seeing large cracks between the bricks, she questioned why. The worker told her after this summer, the bricks would become bigger, and those cracks would disappear.

That is not only decoration, but also communication. The principle is the same.

Secondly, even though there is no single cleaning facility in the dormitory, it can help me adapt myself to the surrounding and learn how to live in harmony with others. What’s more, although I’m a person who loves freedom, I hope the dormitory life could make my life more regular and meaningful.

Last but not least, the fees of the dormitory is far cheaper than the renting room. Choosing the former one will make easier to me to afford it by myself.
