天才福特小時候
Henry ford didn’t always pay attention in school. one day ,he and a friendtook a watch apart. angry and upset, the teacher told him both to stay afterschool. their punishment was to stay until they had fixed the watch. but theteacher did not know young ford’s genius. in ten minutes, this mechanical wizardhad repaired the watch and was on this way home.. ford was always interested inhow things worked. he once plugged up the spout of a teapot and placed it on thefire. then he waited to see what would happen. the water boiled and, of course,turned to steam. since the steam had no way to escape, the teapot exploded. theexplosion cracked a mirror and broke a window. the young inventor was badlyscalded ford’s year of curiosity and tinkering paid off. he dreamed of ahorseless carriage. when he built one, the world of transportation was changedforever.

多年後，福特的好奇心和他的動手能力使他得到了回報。他曾經夢想着去製造一輛無馬行進的車。他造成了一輛這樣的車後，運輸界發生了永久性的變化。
內容2：My weekend
There are two days on the weekend, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Ioften go to my dancing class in the morning and do my homework in the afternoon,and I often help my mother do some cleaning. On Sunday, I always visit mygrandparents in the morning and do some reading in the afternoon. After dinner,I often watch TV with my parents. At that time, we can talk with each other andsay something happily. We often have a good time.

寫法：這篇習作是按照時間順序記敘週末的活動，記敘了週六和週日的上午和下午分別做了哪些活動及對活動的感受。
即：週六上午：舞蹈課→下午：做作業和幫媽媽做清潔→週日上午：看望祖父母→下午：閱讀→晚上：看電視，與父母交流→感受：高興和愉快。
我們還可以選取週六和週日中的幾個比較主要的活動來寫，先說明什麼時間在什麼地方由什麼人做了什麼事，有什麼感受。再按照活動順序把活動內容寫清楚，最後抒發一下對這次活動或這個週末的感想。
時態：這篇短文我們可以用三種時態來寫:a.一般過去時(主要描述你上個週末是怎樣度過的);b.一般現在時(主要描述你經常怎樣度過週末);c.一般將來時(主要描述你要怎樣過週末)。這裏我們來表述平時是如何過週末的，所以採用一般現在時來寫。
注意：活動的相關表達方法可採用舊知識，eg.(例)起牀get up，和新知識，eg. Climbmountains去爬山中的un很容易錯寫成nu。還要注意不要出現病句，eg. “I often watch TV with my parents.”不要寫成“I often with my parents watch TV .” 詞量上控制在50 ~ 80 之間。
